Elena found the books in the back of an abandoned bookshop, their spines cracked and titles hidden under layers of dust. She should have left them alone. Instead she carried the stack home, locked her door, and opened the first volume under the single lamp in her bedroom.
The pages described a world of absolute surrender. No safe words. No mercy. A woman stripped of every choice until her only purpose was to serve. Elena’s breath grew shallow as she read. Her thighs pressed together. The words were crude and clinical at once: spread, kneel, take, obey. She read until her fingers slipped between her legs and she came with a stifled gasp against the back of her hand.
On the third night a note appeared inside the second book. The handwriting was sharp. “You read. Now you will be read.”
She should have burned the books. She didn’t.
He arrived the next evening without knocking. Tall, dressed in black, eyes like wet stone. He didn’t introduce himself. He simply took the book from her hands, opened it to a marked page, and read aloud the line that had made her wettest.
“On your knees.”
Elena sank without thinking. The floor was cold against her bare skin. He circled her once, slow, the sound of his boots the only noise in the room.
“Hands behind your back. Eyes down.”
She obeyed. Her heart hammered so hard she felt it in her throat. He lifted her chin with two fingers, forcing her gaze up.
“You wanted this,” he said. “The books only showed you what you already were.”
He used her mouth first. No gentleness, no pause for breath. He held her hair in a tight fist and fucked her throat until tears streaked her face and saliva dripped onto her breasts. When he pulled out she gasped, coughing, but he gave her no time to recover. He dragged her to the bed, bent her over the edge, and struck her ass with his open palm until the skin burned and she was sobbing.
Then he took her.
It was not lovemaking. It was ownership. He drove into her with brutal precision, one hand pinning her wrists above her head, the other wrapped around her throat. Every thrust forced a broken sound from her. He spoke the entire time, low and vicious, reciting lines from the books she had read.
“You exist to be used.”
“You come only when I allow it.”
“You will thank me for every mark I leave.”
She came anyway, helpless, clenching around him so hard her vision blurred. He did not stop. He fucked her through it, then flipped her onto her back and started again.

By the time he finished inside her she was shaking, marked with fingerprints and bite marks, throat raw from screaming.
He left her there, used and leaking, the books open on the nightstand. Before he walked out he spoke once more.
“Tomorrow you will read the next chapter out loud. Naked. On your knees. If you fail, the punishment will be worse.”
The door closed. Elena lay in the dark, body aching, mind empty of everything except the next command waiting in those pages. She already knew she would obey. The books had only ever shown her the truth of what she needed.
